Join us for a conversation between two local authors with new books out! Jen Dupree is the award-winning author of two novels, The Miraculous Flight of Owen Leach (2022) and What Do You Want from Me? (2025). Slow Motion: A Memoir of Friendship, Disability, and Advocacy, her first full-length work of nonfiction, is out with Islandport Press as of March 2026. Jennifer Braunfels teaches high school English. Her debut novel, Everything You Love Ends Up in a Yard Sale, was selected for an MPBN Book Cub, and came out with Apprentice House Press in May 2026.
