Author Talk: S. Mason Pratt

Join us to hear from local author Mason Pratt. Mason graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College, then served as an intelligence officer with the 82nd Airborne Division before attending Harvard Law School. He practiced law with Pierce Atwood in Portland, Maine for 47 years, and then became a writer. He lives with his wife Mary Lyons-Pratt at Sebago Lake in Standish.

On the Knife Edge, a timely spy thriller, casts the reader into the throes of the war in Ukraine. Part historical novel, it is based on the true story of the container ship El Faro, which sank off the Bahamas almost nine years ago with no survivors, including five graduates of Maine Maritime Academy.
